SAARS 2017 Membership Dues

It's that time again – Your 2017 Membership Dues are now being accepted.

* If you are a current member of SAARS and there are NO changes to your address, phone number, email address, etc. simply mail (or hand deliver) a check for $20.00 made payable to SAARS. Mail to: SAARS – P.O. Box 860084 – St. Augustine, FL 32086. Please make sure that your call sign is on the check. You can also simply hand deliver your check or cash at the next meeting. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday – January 3rd, 2017 at our new location (The St. Augustine Record Building – Intersection of SR-207 & SR-312).

* If you are joining SAARS or if you are a current member and have changes to any of your information please print a 2017 Membership Application. You can like wise either mail it with you $20.00 or hand deliver it at the next meeting as stated above.

We are looking forward to a prosperous and fun filled year with the club. Your membership is critical to the success of SAARS

Due to HURRICANE MATTHEW the MELBOURNE HAMFEST and ARRL FLORIDA STATE CONVENTION has been Postponed until October 21th and 22nd.

The Amateur Radio Parity Act has passed the US House of Representatives. The ARRL has been sending emails requesting hams contact their Senators to show their support. In the email is the following link:

Follow the prompts to send a letter supporting the act to both Senators.

We are very close. Hopefully the Senate will pass their bill and the President will sign it.
