The St Augustine Amateur Radio Society will meet Tuesday February 6th at 6:30 PM. The meeting location will be the St. Augustine Airport Conference Center, 4730 Casa Cola Way, St. Augustine. (map).
Our guest speaker for the February meeting will be Jay Garlitz, AA4FL, President of the North Florida DX Association
Sadly I will not be able to make this meeting as I have meetings at the Elks Club in Palm Coast.
I would ask if you can make mention of it at the meeting I am running a fundraiser Ham Fest at the Elks in Palm Coast for the James Lea family. He needs our help financially since he is burdened by over 8 Million dollars of medical bills.
The ham festival to raise money for James Lea and his family will be held on March 9th, 2024 at the Palm Coast Elks Lodge #2709 in Palm Coast Florida.
From 9 am-4:30 pm
53 Old Kings Road, Palm Coast, 32137.
Tables inside 2 will be available for $30 cash and you can enter as early as 6 am.
Parking spaces are limited outside but you can get one to sell for $20. Setup at 6 am.
Admission will be $20 Cash only.
The bar will be available for an extra cost. There will also be food offered by the Elks for an additional fee.
There will be door prizes and some lectures by Either James Lea or Hope Lea and I.
I will be doing demos of satellite HTs and antennas.
