The St Augustine Amateur Radio Society will meet Tuesday<\/strong>, Sept 2, 2025, 6:30 pm. The meeting local will be at the Fraternal Order of Police, St. Johns County Lodge #113
\n5050 Inman Road, St. Augustine, FL 32084. (MAP)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The lodge is located in the vicinity of the I-95\/SR-16 interchange.<\/p>\n

Upon turning onto Inman Road (next to the Wawa), proceed north about 9\/10 of a mile. The entrance to the lodge will be on your right.<\/p>\n

The gate will be opened at approximately 6 pm.<\/p>\n

Bring your radios, computers, software, and interface cables<\/p>\n

For DMR radios — you need a DMR ID registered to your call sign, so you will want to take care of that ahead of time. See attached document, Some DMR programming hints.<\/p>\n

We will be adding two new (and recurring) items to our meeting agenda:<\/p>\n

    We\u2019re calling on the membership to help out with the club in a variety of ways, and we\u2019ll discuss our needs during this agenda topic.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    New hams corner.<\/p>\n

    Sometimes it can be overwhelming for those new to the ham radio hobby \u2013 a foreign vocabulary, new technology, and just plain old, \u201cwhere do I begin?\u201d We\u2019ll take some time (10 minutes or so) during each meeting to introduce ham radio topics for new hams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
